These Terms will apply to any Order we accept from you via our website, mobile app, SMS or any other platform. Please note that unless you accept these Terms, you should not be placing an Order

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING The Diam Laundry APPLICATIONS OR ANY SERVICES OFFERED BY US, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE DIAM LAUNDRY APPLICATIONS OR ANY OF OUR SERVICES.

Our Services

The Diam Laundry provides efficient pick-up and delivery for both wet cleaning and laundry needs. You can request these services via our website or by using the mobile application offered by The Diam Laundry, which can be downloaded and installed on your smartphone. All services facilitated by The Diam Laundry through the website or Application are collectively referred to as the "Service."

How is a Contract Formed with The Diam Laundry? Contract and Registration

  • By accessing or using The Diam Laundry's Website, Application, or Service, you agree to enter into a contract with us.
  • To use our Application or Service, you must first register with The Diam Laundry.
    • During registration, you need to provide personal information such as your mobile phone number, Name, Email.
    • After registration, a personal account will be created for you, accessible with a password of your choice.

Age Requirement

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our Website, Application, or Service.
  • By registering, you confirm you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement.
  • If registering on behalf of a legal entity, you must be authorized to bind the entity to these terms and conditions.

Your Use of the Website, Application, or the Service

You warrant that the information you provide to The Diam Laundry is accurate and complete. The Diam Laundry reserves the right to verify the information you have provided and to refuse the Service or use of the Application without providing reasons.

You may only access the Service using authorized means. It is your responsibility to ensure you download the correct Application for your device. The Diam Laundry is not liable if you do not have a compatible mobile device or if you download the wrong version of the Application for your mobile device. The Diam Laundry may stop providing the Service and block access to the Application if you are using it with an incompatible or unauthorized device.

By using the Website, Application, or the Service, you further agree that:

  • You will only use the Service, Website, or download the Application for your sole, personal use and will not resell it to a third party.
  • You will not authorize others to use your account.
  • You will not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or legal entity.
  • You will not use an account that is subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization.
  • You will not use the Service, Website, or Application for unlawful purposes, including but not limited to sending or storing any unlawful material or for fraudulent purposes.
  • You will not use the Service, Website, or Application to cause nuisance, annoyance, or inconvenience.
  • You will not impair the proper operation of the network.
  • You will not try to harm the Service, Website, or Application in any way whatsoever.
  • You will not copy or distribute the Website, Application, or other The Diam Laundry content without written permission from The Diam Laundry.
  • You will keep secure and confidential your account password or any identification we provide you which allows access to the Service, Website, and the Application.
  • You will provide us with whatever proof of identity we may reasonably request.
  • You will not use the Service, Website, or Application with an incompatible or unauthorized device.

The Diam Laundry reserves the right to immediately terminate the Service and the use of the Website or Application should you not comply with any of the above rules.

Care for Garments

The Diam Laundry provides, at your choice, three services: Press Only, Wash & Press, and Wet Cleaning and Press.

For the Cleaning and Pressing service, The Diam Laundry follows each garment’s care label instructions. If a care label instruction tag is missing, The Diam Laundry will make a best-effort judgment on the method chosen for cleaning. If a user requests garment treatment that contradicts the care label instructions, The Diam Laundry will, when possible, attempt to contact the user and advise on the potential risks associated with proceeding with the treatment. If The Diam Laundry is unable to obtain the user’s approval to proceed, The Diam Laundry shall refrain from cleaning the garment in question. If the user authorizes The Diam Laundry to proceed, the user will assume responsibility for any damage to their garments.

In the Wash & Fold service, all items are washed at forty (40) degrees Celsius and dried at medium to high heat. The Diam Laundry staff will not verify that each garment is safe to undergo washing at forty (40) degrees Celsius and drying at medium to high heat. The user will assume responsibility for any damage to their garment.

The Diam Laundry does not guarantee the successful removal of any stain but will make every attempt to remove stains without damaging your garment.

Item Count

The Diam Laundry’s pick-up driver will count the number of clothes given by the user for cleaning and ironing. The count at collection will not include a count or an inspection of the garments. Any defects, damages, or stains will not be noted down on this receipt.

The user has the right to ask for a confirmation receipt for the number of items that will be taken to our laundry and wet cleaning facility. Once the garments arrive at the facility, our attendant (sorter) will carry out a separate and thorough count of the cycle. Additionally, our personnel will perform a thorough check of the garments received for defects, damages, and stains. The Diam Laundry will inform the customer of any noted damage.

The Diam Laundry reserves the right to decide not to clean an item and will inform the customer via call, SMS, email, or with a card informing the customer that the garment was not cleaned.

Payment

The use of the Website and Application is free of charge. The Diam Laundry reserves the right to introduce a fee for the use of the Application. If The Diam Laundry decides to introduce such a fee, you will be informed accordingly and allowed to either continue or terminate the Contract.

The Diam Laundry shall charge you for the services you request, which may include wet cleaning, laundry, wash & fold, pressing, or related services (“Cleaning”). You agree to pay for all Cleaning you purchase through The Diam Laundry. Payment will be made to the delivery person by cash or card at the time of delivery.

Once the items have been cleaned, an invoice detailing the number of items that were cleaned, as well as the charges minus any promotions or credits accumulated, will be provided by the delivery person upon delivery. Payments will be collected by the delivery person immediately upon the delivery of the cleaned items; any rejected card transactions will need to be settled before the delivery of the cleaned items.

The Diam Laundry does not process payments through the application.

Indemnification

By agreeing to these terms and using our Application or Service, you promise to protect and cover The Diam Laundry, its affiliates, and all related parties (like officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any claims, costs, damages, or losses. This includes legal fees that come up because of:

  • (a) Breaking any of these terms or any applicable laws,
  • (b) Violating someone else’s rights, or
  • (c) Misusing the Application or Service.

Liability

The information, recommendations, and/or services provided to you on or through the Website or application, the Service, and the Application are for general information purposes only and do not constitute advice. The Diam Laundry will reasonably keep the Website and the Application and their contents correct and up to date but does not guarantee that the contents of the Website and/or Application are free of errors, defects, malware, and viruses or that the Website and/or Application are correct, up to date, and accurate.

The Diam Laundry shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of (or inability to use) the Website or Application (excluding death or personal injury), including damages caused by malware, viruses, or any incorrectness or incompleteness of the information on the Website or Application, unless such damage is the result of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of The Diam Laundry.

The Diam Laundry shall further not be liable for damages resulting from the use of (or the inability to use) electronic means of communication with the Website or the Application, including but not limited to damages resulting from failure or delay in the delivery of electronic communications, interception or manipulation of electronic communications by third parties, or by computer programs used for electronic communications and transmission of viruses. The user understands that there are inherent risks in Cleaning and there is potential for clothing and related items to get lost or damaged. The Diam Laundry will do its best to ensure situations like this do not happen, and in the instances they do happen, will work with the user to rectify the situation.

Without prejudice to the foregoing, and insofar as allowed under mandatory applicable law and according to industry practices, The Diam Laundry’s aggregate liability shall in no event exceed an amount of AED 2,000 or, where applicable, the equivalent of that amount in the currency used by you for the payment for Cleaning.

Damaged Items

If your items are damaged, you must report it within seven (7) days of delivery. You can do this by emailing info@thediamlaundry.com. Claims made after seven (7) days will not be accepted.

We take great care with your garments, but we can’t guarantee against issues like color bleeding, color loss, or shrinkage due to manufacturing defects. We are also not responsible for any damage to garments that were already flawed or worn out, which might cause small holes or tears. Damage can sometimes happen due to our cleaning and ironing processes, or defects in the fabric, material, or stitching.

For items damaged by our cleaning process, we may offer service credit up to fifteen (15) times the cleaning fee, regardless of the garment’s brand, price, or condition. To make a claim, email info@thediamlaundry.com with digital photos of the damage or arrange for an in-person inspection within seven (7) days.

Lost Items

If an item is lost, you must report it within seven (7) days of delivery by emailing info@thediamlaundry.com.

Please note that The Diam Laundry is not responsible for loose items such as watches, jewelry, cash, wallets, cufflinks, car keys, badges, or similar items that are submitted in a laundry bag, regardless of their value. We will, however, make every effort to recover and return any such items if possible.

License Grant, Restrictions, and Copyright Policy Definitions

  • Content: All material on the Website, Service, or Application, including logos, text, images, graphics, sound, software (excluding the Application), and other materials.
  • The Diam Laundry Content: Content owned or used by The Diam Laundry or its affiliates, including third-party licensed content, but not including User Content.
  • User: A person who uses the Service or Application.
  • User Content: Content posted or submitted by Users on the Website or through the Service or Application.
  • Collective Content: The Diam Laundry Content and User Content together.

License Grant

  • The Diam Laundry gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
    • View, download, and print The Diam Laundry Content for personal and non-commercial use.
    • View User Content you are allowed to access for personal and non-commercial use.

Restrictions

  • You cannot sublicense, copy, adapt, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, license, sell, transfer, display, perform, reproduce, transmit, stream, broadcast, or exploit the Website, Service, Application, or Collective Content except as allowed by these terms.
  • You must not reuse any Collective Content without written permission from The Diam Laundry.
  • No other licenses or rights are granted beyond those explicitly mentioned in these terms.

License Granted by User

When you post, upload, or submit content (User Content) on the Website or through the Service or Application, you give The Diam Laundry a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, distribute, and share your User Content anywhere in the world, for any purpose. This means your content is considered non-confidential and non-proprietary.

The Diam Laundry only provides a platform for User Content and is not responsible for its accuracy or content. We do not continuously monitor or moderate User Content, and opinions expressed in User Content do not necessarily reflect The Diam Laundry’s views.

You are fully responsible for your User Content. You confirm that it is original, does not infringe on third-party rights, and does not contain defamatory statements. You also confirm you have the right to grant this license.

You agree to cover any costs or damages that arise from your User Content and protect The Diam Laundry from related claims.

The Diam Laundry can remove or block any User Content that it believes does not follow these terms or is otherwise unacceptable. If you notice User Content that breaches these terms, let us know in writing and provide enough details for us to investigate. We will make a good faith effort to address the issue, but we do not guarantee that the content will be removed.

Application License

As long as you follow these User Terms, The Diam Laundry gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Download and install a copy of the Application on one mobile device that you own or control.
  • Use the Application only for your personal use.

You may not:

  • License, sell, transfer, or make the Application available to others in any way.
  • Modify or create new versions of the Application.
  • Create links to the Application or “frame” it on other websites.
  • Reverse engineer or try to build similar products or services based on the Application.
  • Use automated programs or scripts that burden the Application or Service.

You must also:

  • Avoid sending spam or unsolicited messages.
  • Refrain from sending or storing illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
  • Avoid storing or spreading malware or harmful software.
  • Not disrupt or interfere with the operation of the Application, Website, or Service.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks related to the Application or Service.

The Diam Laundry may investigate and take legal action against violations of these terms. We may work with law enforcement authorities if needed. While we don’t have to monitor your use of the Application or Service, we can review and remove any content that we think violates these terms or is harmful.

Intellectual Property Ownership

The Diam Laundry (and its licensors) owns all rights, titles, and interests in the Website, Application, and Service, including any related intellectual property rights. This also includes any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide about these.

These User Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You do not gain any rights to the Website, Application, Service, or any of The Diam Laundry’s intellectual property. The Diam Laundry’s name, logo, and product names are trademarks, and you cannot use them without permission.

Term and Termination

  • Duration: The contract between you and The Diam Laundry.
  • Your Rights: You can end the contract anytime by deleting the Application from your smartphone or by closing your account through customer support at info@thediamlaundry.com.
  • The Diam Laundry Rights: The Diam Laundry can terminate the contract immediately if you breach the User Terms or misuse the Application or Service. No prior notice is required.
  • Notice of Termination: After termination, The Diam Laundry will notify you according to the User Terms.

Invalidity of Provisions

  • If any part of these User Terms is invalid, the rest remains valid.
  • If a term is unacceptable or invalid, a new provision will be applied that best matches the intended purpose of the original term.

Modification of Service and User Terms

  • The Diam Laundry can change or replace User Terms, or alter, suspend, or discontinue the Service or Application at any time.
  • Changes will be communicated via the Website, Service, Application, or email.
  • The Diam Laundry can limit features or restrict access without prior notice.

Notice

The Diam Laundry will notify you through general announcements on the Service, Application, or by email.

Assignment

You cannot transfer your rights under these User Terms without The Diam Laundry's prior written approval.

Account Deletion

Users can request data deletion by submitting the form from www.thediamlaundry.com/request-account-deletion or from the application App -> Profile -> Delete Account
